Program Description
KMS Anesthesia Staffing LLC ("KMS Staffing") operates the KMS Anesthesia Staffing Scheduling Notifications program. This program sends SMS text messages to Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) — including contracted CRNAs and CRNAs at partner hospital anesthesia departments that use the KMS scheduling platform — for the purpose of communicating daily operating room (OR) assignments, schedule changes, and staffing notifications.
This is a closed, internal messaging system used exclusively for workforce coordination. It is not used for marketing, advertising, or promotional purposes.
Message Types
- Daily OR room assignments with start times and case notes
- Schedule changes and updates after initial publish
- Confirmations when a CRNA is voluntarily released from a shift
- Staff-list availability alerts to designated board runners
- Operational questions from the anesthesia director (e.g., shift coverage requests)
How Messages Are Identified
KMS operates the scheduling platform on behalf of partner hospital anesthesia departments. Outbound messages identify both the partner hospital (as the operational sender responsible for the assignment) and KMS (as the platform delivering the message).
Messages follow this format:
[Hospital Name] (via KMS): [assignment details]
This hybrid identification ensures recipients recognize both the department giving the assignment and the platform sending the text.
Consent & Enrollment
SMS enrollment is limited to CRNAs who receive assignments through the KMS scheduling platform. Each CRNA provides their mobile phone number and signs the KMS Anesthesia Staffing SMS Communications Consent Form during department onboarding, authorizing KMS Staffing to send scheduling-related text messages. No public opt-in form is used. No messages are sent to any individual who has not completed the written onboarding consent process.
Message Frequency
Message frequency varies with your schedule. Typical volume is 1–5 messages per scheduled workday. Message volume may be higher during periods of schedule volatility.
Message & Data Rates
Message and data rates may apply. KMS Staffing does not charge for SMS messages, but standard carrier rates from your mobile provider may apply.
Opt-Out
You may opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any message. You will receive a single confirmation message and no further messages will be sent. You may also contact us directly to request removal.

Supported Carriers
Messages are sent via Twilio and are compatible with all major U.S. wireless carriers including AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, and others. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. T-Mobile is not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Privacy & Data Sharing
Phone numbers and SMS consent data are collected solely for the purpose of workforce scheduling communications. We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile number or opt-in data with third parties for promotional purposes.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All categories of personal information exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
